VICTORY AGAINST SEA POLLUTION STARTS WHEN SOMEONE, OR A SMALL GROUP, DECIDES THAT THE TIME IS NOW FOR ACTION - AS ONLY DEAD FISH GO WITH THE FLOW.

Sea water resistent stainless steel (AISI 3.16) systems for food leftovers and other waste can be easily compressed and sealed gas - tight by the kasu VACULUX S and M, which saves space in lockers, passages and storages and the waste can be stored effectively, hygienically and odor-free.

In the private shipbuilding industry, engineers develop comfortable performance yachts or luxurious motor yachts that need noting to be desired. It is often forgotten that the owners also live, eat, drink and celebrate on board. Be it in the pantry, the sanitary rooms, on deck - domestic waste accumulates everywhere, which is stored in conventional and very thin garbage bags in the heat in tightly dimensioned storage spaces between fenders, lines and other boat equipment with a tour up to several weeks before it can be disposed in the nearest port. This creates unpleasant odor, ferments and gases, which often make an unforgettable goals fade in the cloudy stench of the garbage.

Many people work on industrial - commercially used systems in the offshore area, whose supply is ensured by commercial kitchens. All kinds of waste accumulate in these kitchens – be it packaging waste, organic waste or other rubbish. In addition, there is rubbish from the private supply. All this rubbish is removed at regular intervals by the supplying fleet and until then it rots in the narrow storage spaces, spreading unpleasant odors that contain aerosols that are harmful to health. A disposal - even the organic waste - in the ocean is prohibited and also prohibited in the respective national regulations. Preserving the environment is important to the image of industrial enterprises - more serious than ever.

Especially in the shipbuilding industry and the energy generating offshore industry is space a crucial topic as due to the design of yachts, navy ships and other vessels as well as oil rigs, onshore and offshore wind parks is space simply short as the purpose of the industry is serving and considering a different aspect. However, the crews are big and exposed to the danger of germs, pathogens and strong odors - especially if the regions and operating temperatures are generally high. In these temperatures is the fermentation process even higher and so is the odor. Compressing waste in sealed bags allows for odor free storage and provides much more space on the tightly designed properties. In general is the disposal of all waste into oceans prohibited - even of organic waste. We developed a sustainable solution to make the disposal of different waste in tight spaces possible with the VACULUX and VACUMET ranges - waste, compressed and odor-free.

In the light of the pollution of all oceans is the KASU VACUMET VD or KASU VACULUX S or M a valuable contribution to keep the oceans clean.

Therefore have we developed disposal systems, made of stainless steel (grade 3.16), to stand the rough climate conditions on board, offshore or in coastal areas.

The sizes starting from 371 mm width to fit into the current kitchen / pantry designs wether as front loader for build in solutions or powder coated steel top loader on castors for more flexibility.

Space-saving and hygienic disposal is very important at workplaces where food is handled every day or offshore platforms where waste may need to be stored for a long period of time. If the waste disposal is not optimally regulated, an odor nuisance arises that fills storage spaces, lockers, rooms and corridors.  A clean and hygienic waste disposal at sea provides reliable health standards for staff and visitors on the job or on leisure cruses and keeps, first of all, the ocean clean.

Not  only  do  odors  spread,  but  potentially  dangerous  germs as well. The solution is simple and easy to use with the kasu VACULUX MARINE built - available in variant for kitchen systems in size  S  (width 37 cm) and  M  (width 45 cm). The slim line designed systems fit in underneath any standardized kitchen counter and are easy to operate by a single touch without attending the 85 seconds operating cycle.

  1. Germicidal UV irradiation of the waste inside the device.
  2. Pressure reduction within the machine, this creates the same negative pressure in the bag, and this prevents liquids and suspended particles from escaping.pended particles from escaping.
  3. The extracted air is filtered by special filters. No bacteria get into the circulating air.
  4. With the appropriate negative pressure, the bag is sealed airtight (a surface pressure of about 10 tons per m2 acts on the bag).
  5. The external pressure in the machine is then restored, thereby significantly reducing the volume of the bag.
